The life of Henry Lovegood was simple. There was a routine and Henry loved routines. Wake up. Shower. Prepare breakfast. Read a bit. Drive to Church. Until it wasn’t. Watch as Henry Lovegood’s life is turned upside down by forgetting to set his clocks back one hour.
“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
If you're looking for the premier program to change kids' lives, you've come to the right place! Awana is the leading ministry to help local churches reach children and youth with the gospel and train them to know, love and serve Christ.
The Awana ministry is a program that works together with the parent in training their child/children spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically. We spend time playing games, reciting memorized Bible verses, and learning about God and His Word. Community Bible Church's Awana ministry impacts children grades Kindergarten to 6th grade along with their families and the entire community while helping instruct parents, train volunteers and make the Children's Ministry all that God intends them to be!
Nearly 12,000 U.S. churches and more than 4,000 churches overseas run the Awana program, and the list is growing.

Sunday October 26
Picture this: a full parking lot with the back ends of cars, vans and trucks decorated in a variety of fun themes, with treats and sometimes games. Families move from car to car, collecting treats and prizes in a safe environment. Come enjoy the evening as a family and interact with people in our community!
We encourage hosts and helpers to dress up in non-scary costumes for the event.
This Sunday is part 2 of our Guardrails Sermon series, and is one you don’t want to miss.
It’s on Guardrails that are important for us to have in our friendships. The title of the message is, “Befriend or Unfriend?”and is all about having healthy boundaries in our friendships. This information is extremely practical and critically important for everyone from teens to college kids, to singles to married couples, and anyone else you can think of!
If you are a parent of a teenager, I want to strongly encourage you to have your teen in church with you Sunday. It may well have a dramatic impact on the entire trajectory of their lives. Please join me in praying that God will move in a powerful way Sunday.
I look forward to worshiping with you Sunday! Pastor Bill
