Letter from Pastor Matt - 1-20-2021
Hello Church Family,
I hope you are having a fantastic week! I was reading this morning in Romans 10:1 "Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is their salvation." Paul was talking about the Jewish people. You may want to go back to Romans 9:1-6 to get a little more context. However, the truth of chapter 10 verse 1 just struck me this morning. Let's apply this verse to our lives. Is our heart's desire and is our prayer to God for the salvation of our family members, coworkers, neighbors, people we come in contact with, etc.? May it truly be our heart's desire and our fervent prayer for the salvation for people on the Bayou!
Hope to see this Sunday as we dive in Malachi 2! Remember, the truth of chapter 1, He loved them, but they were not honoring Him with their sacrifices. He loves us! May we honor Him as we offer our bodies as living sacrifices to Him. If you haven't gotten a chance, please go back to Jordy's email earlier this week as he gave us some questions to look at to dig even deeper into Malachi 1.
Just a reminder to sign-up for Life Groups. You can do that three ways: 1) At church on the table, 2) the website, and 3) the church app!
